Book One Now Available

Part of the fun of working on book one was not only creating this world where the characters live and play, but creating their alter egos, like Hush’s (no spoilers).
I’ve always been a huge fan of Asian mythology so you’ll see some of it in this book as well as throughout the series.

Cover art was another fun activity. There are always many options and concepts. I finally decided on this one:

So what’s the book about? It’s a paranormal adventure of Silver, an American born Chinese, teen martial artist girl raised in the heart of Chinatown, NYC.

After years of hard work, practice, and sacrifice, Silver has earned the coveted honor of entering a dangerous underground martial arts tournament deep in the heart of Chinatown. Her excitement is only matched by her fear of failure. Little does she knows that the tournament is not the end, but the beginning of trouble, trouble times twelve.
After the tournament is over she must face the wrath of her grandmaster, confront the truth that her life was just a ruse to keep her safe, and find out what she really is and who her real friends are. She discovers that the myths of the twelve zodiac animals great race, the Jade Emperor, and even demons are real. In this frightening new reality, will she have the strength to save humanity or will the demons win?
